Seeking residents views on crime and anti-social behaviour

The Liberal Democrats in Tyburn Ward, led by Cllr Ann Holtom and local campaigner Trevor Holtom, are carrying out a major survey of opinion into people's experiences of policing, crime and anti-social behaviour and finding out residents' priorities for cutting crime as well as their views on a range of related issues like prisons and sentencing.

The survey is being distributed in parts of Tyburn Ward and is designed to collect information which can be used to reduce the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour and make residents aware of crime-cutting schemes and offender initiatives which really work.

Cllr Holtom said: "It is time to let residents have their say on cutting crime and anti-social behaviour, to find out their views on policing, sentencing and prisons and to try and reassure people that agencies are working together, involving their local representatives, to make Tyburn Ward an even safer place to live."
