Labour's dithering is causing uncertainty over the future of Castle Vale pool and a generous sports grant

Councillor Ann Holtom has revealed that Labour's dithering over the future of Castle Vale swimming pool in Farnborough Road is jeopardising a £250,000 Sports England grant, along with the pool's very future. The grant which is on offer if a highly renowned judo club relocates to the pool complex, is set to be withdrawn very soon if the pool's future cannot be guaranteed.

Ann Holtom, who is the Liberal Democrats' Parliamentary candidate for Erdington said: "This is another prime example of incompetency by Labour. They are faced with decision which affect all our lives but instead of getting on with it they try to make political mischief."
