Time to take back our politics and our democracy

Broken politics? Come and take part in the debate.
Compass is an independent think thank for people described as being on the democratic left. A lot of its contributors are from the Labour Party but it tries to attract a broad audience of people who are interested in progressive politics. Liberal Democrat MP, Evan Harris is one of the non-Labour politicians who have contributed to its work.

Locally Compass will be holding a public meeting on Thursday 26 November at 8pm in Holy Trinity RC Church, 69 Lichfield Road, Sutton Coldfield. Andy Howell (son of Denis and former Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council) will be leading a discussion on electoral reform and related issues. These are questions which the Liberal Democrats have championed for many years and you can join in and influence the debate on how we can take back our politics and our democracy.
