Focus editor Trevor Holtom is horrified at the state of Castle Vale High Street.
"The road surface is a mess. It sends out all the wrong messages to shoppers and visitors" said Trevor. "The problem in getting repairs done properly dates back to the days of Labour control when after redevelopment the High Street was never adopted. As such it does not appear on the highways department'd maintenance schedule."

Trevor is working with Liberal Democrat Tyburn ward councillor, Ann Holtom, to seek a permanent solution.
