Purple Bus under threat - local councillor supports calls to save vital community service

Cllr Ann Holtom with Birmingham's Lord Mayor on Castle Vale - Ann is calling for the the Purple Bus to be saved as "a valuable community service"

Tyburn Ward's Liberal Democrat councillor, Ann Holtom, is supporting the call from local residents and community groups to save the Purple Bus which is under threat as a result of a review of funding for the distinctive local service.

Ann has added her name to many other signatures of local people who are requesting that the Purple Bus is retained for the use by local residents. Cllr Holtom said "The Purple Bus provides a valuable community service that we simply cannot afford to lose."
