Road safety improvements - thanks to Lib Dem action

Local campaigner John Line reports good news for residents over road safety improvements
Local Liberal Democrat activist, John Line, has been working with Cllr Ann Holtom and local residents in their campaign for road safety improvements at the intersection of Eaton Wood, Tyburn Road and Egerton Road. Late last year John helped Ann in the collection of signatures for a petition to Birmingham Council calling for safer road crossings in this traffic-heavy area which Ann then presented to the Council.
John Line, who lives in Tyburn Ward, now reports back that Cllr Holtom's and the residents campaign has paid off. The Council has agreed to go ahead with improvements to the area in the next financial year.
Yet another example of Lib Dems working with residents for the benefit of the community.
