Cllr Ann Holtom, campaigning for Tyburn Ward - all year every year, not just at election times
The street name plate on Egerton Road, Erdington (running between Kingsbury and Tyburn Roads) seems an odd target for vandals but first it was damaged and then stolen. Local residents contacted Ann to see if she could help and now the street sign has been replaced by the Council.
Ann said, "Why anyone would want to steal a street name plate puzzles me. It's nothing more than mindless vandalism. But I am pleased to say that we are not letting them win. A new plate has been installed and residents are keeping a watchful eye over it."
Wherever you live in Birmingham, you can report a street fault direct to the Council by going to the fault reporting page on the council's website: http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/GenerateContent?CONTENT_ITEM_ID=11871&CONTENT_ITEM_TYPE=0&MENU_ID=12079
Of course, it helps if you live in Tyburn Ward and have Ann Holtom, supported by FOCUS TEAM members, Trevor Holtom and John Line. as your dedicated local councillor and campaigners.
